Voluntary groups, social enterprises and community councils, can apply for grants for capital and revenue projects. The difference between success and failure, survival or closure is often very small. Eligible organisations will be based within a 5 mile radius of the North Flintshire, Denbighshire and Conwy coastline. In Flintshire this includes: Gronant, Talacre, Gwespyr, Ffynnongrowy & Penyffordd (North Flintshire), Llanasa, Trelawnyd, Trelogan, Mostyn, Whitford & Downing. To date, lots of different projects have been funded and we welcome applications that support one or more of the following ‘Well-being of Future Generations Act (2015)’ goals:

- A Wales of Cohesive Communities – helping create happier communities
- A Wales of Vibrant Culture and Thriving Welsh Language – creating opportunities in Wales and celebrating the Welsh language & Culture
- A Globally Responsible Wales – looking after the environment and considering others
Projects should also consider their sustainability; how they could involve those people they are aiming to help in their project and whether they could link in with any similar projects in the area.
